Our client was established more than 35 years ago. They have an impressive trophy cabinet of national and international awards. A recent merger has springboarded them to one of the largest privately owned businesses in their field, worldwide. As a result of this merger, they are implementing a new ERP system and with the existing FM becoming Project Lead, we require an astute and experienced Accountant/FM to steer the ship in her absence.
Reporting to the CEO and managing a team of 5, key aspects of the role include:
- Financial reporting for several entities
- Provide financial analysis (including job costing analysis)
- Supervising a team, ensuring accurate and timely completion of reconciliations, month end processes, BAS, cash flow forecasts, tax concession claims, asset register maintenance, AP, AR and Payroll.
- Preparing operational budgets and reporting on actual vs budget
- Maintain system integrity, ensuring the GL and stock codes are accurate and appropriate
Our ideal applicant will have extensive experience within a project/construction/manufacturing environment, where job costing is a critical aspect of the role. Consideration will be given to an experienced accountant with related industry exposure. Minimum degree qualified with CA/CPA preferred.
