Description
As the Head of Finance you will manage the financial operations for the Australian and New Zealand subsidiaries, offering commercial, strategic, and operational financial leadership. You will bring a solid combination of controllership experience, complemented by operational excellence, commercial acumen, and strategic vision.
Other key responsibilities will include the following:
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely monthly management reports, annual financial reports, and ensure compliance with local and group standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- Lead the budgeting, monthly 12-month rolling forecast, and long-term strategic planning processes.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and business recommendations to support decision-making across the organisation.
- Ensure the integrity of financial data and reporting, driving continuous improvement in processes and systems.
- Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimisation, and capital expenditure budgeting.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align financial goals with the company\’s strategic objectives.
- Manage and mentor the finance team, promoting a high-performance culture focused on excellence and accountability.
Profile
- CA/CPA qualified with previous experience working in a similar hands-on position within the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
- Strong experience preparing and submitting accurate and timely monthly management and annual financial reports in alignment with both local and group standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional operational teams.
- Previous ERP experience and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Experience in small-to-medium-sized businesses is an advantage.
