As Head of IT Infrastructure, you\’ll play a pivotal role in enabling the growth and success of a market leading Australian business. You\’ll lead a talented team, foster collaboration, and champion innovative solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of the infrastructure landscape, powering the business and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
This role requires an individual with vast experience managing infrastructure/cloud teams, and has proven ability dealing with a wide range of stakeholders while working in high pressure situations.
The role
- Lead a team of infrastructure engineers and create and build a continuous improvement, positive team environment and culture, while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure technology and business strategies are aligned.
- Oversee information security and cybersecurity compliance, manage cyber risk incidents, and monitor key performance indicators.
- Deliver infrastructure services to the platforms, while ensuring business needs are met, and deliver on commitments, driving the products in your service area towards their agreed target states.
- Operate and manage infrastructure strategy, including BCP and DR.
- Build strong internal business relationships based on trust and value creation.
- Vendor and commercial management, including negotiation of contractors, cost management, and managing of outsourcing/insourcing infrastructure.
- Create an inclusive environment, driving positivity with the team and wider organisation.
About you
- Significant experience managing large infrastructure/cloud teams, in large/enterprise environments.
- Proven ability in managing the delivery of large and complex infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of cyber and risk & compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability modernising and uplifting infrastructure/cloud environment.
- Excellent ability to work with and influence stakeholders across the business to assist in delivering tech strategy.
- Experience building high-performing teams, and promoting collaboration to ensure goals are met.
