The Company
Our client is a leading international provider of safety and medical equipment and is seeking a talented and competent Key Account Manager to join this well-established and growing business and deliver on growth and profitability targets.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Regional Manager for WA, (great mentoring), and working closely with the local and national teams to support your success, this role will keep you busy, challenged, learning, and contributing!
Your role is to service your assigned customer base with an expanding range of products and services.
This opportunity requires a team player who comes from a technical environment, is a strategic thinker with outstanding sales disciplines, influencing and negotiation skills and who can work collaboratively with various internal departments and stakeholders.
The Key Account Manager
Attitude, outlook and mindset are all critical, and the successful candidate will back these up with:
- Key Account Manager experience, ideally with a technical product.
- Strong and effective stakeholder engagement.
- 3-5 plus years’ experience in a Key Account Management role would be ideal.
- Strong sales, negotiation and influencing skills.
- A high level of compliance and attention to detail.
- Be highly organised, have a positive attitude and a sense of urgency.
- Have strong numerical and pricing understanding.
