Lead – Projects and Education (Community Safety)

Salary: Up to $125,177.48 p.a. total salary package ($106,244.32 – $112,266.80 + 11.5% super)*

Lead an inspiring team, oversee innovative projects, and drive change while fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. In this role, you\’ll be at the forefront of shaping and safeguarding the community\’s well-being. You\’ll develop, implement, and monitor community safety strategies and emergency management plans while overseeing city projects and programs. This includes liaising with internal and external stakeholders to improve community safety, coordinating priorities to meet deadlines, and maintaining high standards. You will also be responsible for managing the Service Unit’s budget, securing external funding, and fostering strong relationships with various stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant area or significant experience in managing community services and community-based projects.
  • Current Police Clearance.
  • Significant experience in community safety or public policy development.
  • Strong understanding of the use of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) to ensure effective project management.
  • Proven experience in developing and monitoring budgets, alongside demonstrated project management skills.
