Security (Information & Communication Technology)
The Manager Planning and Delivery Office oversees a team of Project Managers specialising in Cyber Security to ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives. This role involves managing cybersecurity activities across various projects, product launches, and operational functions, with a focus on adhering to security protocols, optimising resource allocation, and fostering effective collaboration across the organisation.
In this role, you will partner with senior leadership, including the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Cyber Directors, to develop and implement strategic plans, manage budgets and procurement processes, and advance the organisation\’s Cyber Security Strategy by translating goals into actionable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare budgetary allocations and financial forecasts across Cyber Transformation and DevSecOps teams.
- Lead Cyber teams to manage all cybersecurity delivery-related matters that support organizational objectives and strategies.
- Support other Cyber teams and managers with resource planning and recruitment efforts.
- Prepare and present reports to relevant governance committees on project or roadmap delivery status, risks, and issues.
- Oversee vendor and contract management activities, including managing RFPs, procurement, and contract negotiations, while maintaining oversight of vendor deliveries.
- Manage budget, risk, and logistics across all areas of daily operations.
- Develop and maintain processes, procedures, and templates relevant to the Planning & Delivery function.
- Drive the development and implementation of the Cyber Security Strategy and roadmap initiatives.
- Manage the development of proposals and go-to-market initiatives for security services in response to cyber initiatives or security testing requirements.
- Undertake activities with an awareness of their impact on strategic, political, or operational outcomes.
- Operate within established legislative and policy frameworks.
About the Team:
The Manager, Cyber, Planning and Delivery is part of the Cyber Transformation and DevSecOps section within the broader Cyber Security function. This area also encompasses Cyber Solutions and Cyber Operations. The role is responsible for the Cyber front-of-house function, which provides a single point of contact for internal teams to engage with Cyber Security.
