Join our business services team as a Manager Indirect Taxation and contribute to the success of our business by ensuring seamless tax compliance, reporting, risk management and driving a more strategic lens to tax including education, monitoring and process improvement and automation. You will be responsible for:
- Providing a professional advisory service on the indirect taxation obligations of the Department.
- Providing advice to project teams on the strategy being used on individual projects to ensure GST compliance and accuracy.
- Manage taxation compliance including GST, FBT and other taxes.
- The lodgement of the Business Activity Statements and FBT Returns.
As a tax specialist , you will work closely with internal teams, external advisors including the Office of the Auditor General, and tax authorities to manage all aspects of tax compliance, accounting, and reporting. Your expertise will help drive accuracy, mitigate risks, and maintain compliance with Australian tax legislation.
There is currently one 12-month fixed term position available for immediate filling.
