This position is a key role in our business overseeing eleven depots within QLD, NSW and WA. This senior leadership role will be responsible for developing the commercial acumen and leadership capability across the regions as we grow and continue to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

You will be responsible for:

  • Defining, planning and delivering people and operational performance improvement strategies to meet KPIs across the region
  • Client relations
  • Manage and report on the P&L of the complete traffic division
  • Providing strong leadership across a multi-site environment with a focus on uplifting the leadership capability of your managers
  • Utilising your ability to analyse data to identify areas for improvement and your coaching skills to translate conclusions to your managers
  • Developing your team’s understanding of financial performance, account management, business development and effective resource allocation
  • Coaching and mentoring your team on people management and performance improvement strategies
  • Collaborating with the HR team to drive a strong safety and people focused culture
  • Motivating your team to build strong brand awareness across the region to establish, maintain and expand our customer base
  • Daily contact with each Depot Manager to identify areas for improvement and to provide guidance on all aspects of business operations where required.

Key criteria:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Traffic Industry in a management role
  • A demonstrated strategic leadership style, with the ability to influence, deliver results, and develop high performing teams
  • Commercially focused with the ability to correctly assess the impact of decisions on business outcomes
  • Strong understanding of workforce planning
  • Proven ability to utilise data analytics to make business improvement decisions
  • Previous experience managing a multi-site business and remote teams
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility and demonstrate resilience
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety
  • Ability to travel is an essential requirement of this role.
  • Industry experience is not a requirement for this role, we are looking for a strong leader with transferrable skills.
