About the role
This is a hybrid role, combining responsibilities as an HR administrator and a Payroll Advisor. You will be responsible for our dedicated clients workforce and internal payroll which includes managing its day-to-day stakeholder needs.
Additionally, you will oversee HR matters for the workforce and provide expertise and support. Reporting to the CFO and dedicated Senior HR Consultant, you will play a key role in the continued success of Blue Tongue. This role offers tremendous scope to grow within the business. Key Responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day operation and commercial duties involved in Payroll and client invoicing.
- Preparing financial and workforce reports.
- Liaising with key stakeholders.
- Providing outstanding customer service to our clients and employees.
- Using various platforms to manage payroll duties.
- Meeting payroll deadlines.
- Ensuring and managing relevant payroll compliance.
- HR administrator duties including contracts, pay reviews, and system management.
- Resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations.
About you
Being highly motivated with a high level of attention to detail, exceptional customer service skills, and experience in payroll, you will be able to think critically and be capable of solving complex payroll matters. You will also have:
- 1+ years’ experience within payroll function, Xero accounting software.
- Experience with Key Pay, Employment Hero Payroll, WorkforceOne (Codehouse) software, and external workforces is a bonus.
- Experience in human resources, customer service, or a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with internal stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and quick thinking.
