Location: Salter Point
Salary: $38 hr plus super for a 3 day week 7.5hrs day (excluding lunch) with the prospect of a full-time position.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will be responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support to the CEO and for coordinating Board meetings, agendas, and papers.
The successful candidate will provide executive support duties including taking and transcribing minutes, diary planning, scheduling meetings, managing emails and correspondence, and occasionally assisting with other business matters as required. You will also have responsibility for the management of email and other correspondence and will provide support on the execution of other key projects. In addition, the role will be responsible for producing presentations and reports for the CEO, managing both general and highly confidential matters.
The role also involves conducting research, gathering information, and ensuring alignment with our policy positions when preparing documents in a timely manner. The role will foster strong working relationships with the CEO, CFO, Board, staff, and key external stakeholders.
This is a part-time, permanent opportunity that is available for commencement from mid-January onwards, with the prospect of a full-time position. This is to coincide with the transition of a new CEO for the organization.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of Certificate IV in Business or similar
- Excellent written and oral English language skills
- Patience when dealing with seniors
- Extensive experience providing executive support at a CEO level
- Contextual awareness of the Western Australian not-for-profit environment
- Demonstrated experience with accurately recording, transcribing, and distributing minutes of meetings
- Strong degree of attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Advanced MS Office skills on a PC
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and to build effective business relationships
- Sound judgement, initiative, and capacity to deal with sensitive issues in a professional and confidential manner
- Ability to work independently, adapt, and prioritise tasks
- A National Police Clearance and ability to keep all documents and information secure and confidential at all times.
- The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional organisational skills, great timekeeping ability, attention to detail, discretion, and the capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism.
