Due to the continued success and growth of Seven Consulting, we are looking for a talented PMO Lead with relevant experience who shares our passion for delivering quality outcomes through business change to join our team on a contract basis.
Your new Role:
As a PMO Lead, you will work directly with our clients to deliver high-quality PMO services. Each engagement is different but typical responsibilities of a PMO Lead include:
- Establishing and operating the PMO for a project, program, or portfolio.
- Driving improvements and uplifting PMO capabilities.
- Developing and implementing robust processes, managing the overall governance and controls.
- Refining existing PMO practices in line with changing requirements and establishing best practices and frameworks.
- Liaising with Sponsors, Steering Committee members, and stakeholders at all levels of the client’s organisation.
- Leading, coaching, and mentoring PMO team members.
What you bring:
- Self-starter with proven ability to set up and run project, program &/or portfolio PMOs.
- Minimum 7 years\‘ experience in implementing improvements in the value delivered by the PMO.
- Track record of successfully delivering PMO services for technology projects & programs.
- Proven abilities in the establishment and management of governance and controls for traditional and agile-run projects/programs/portfolios.
- Experience leading teams.
- Solid stakeholder management skills and ability to influence.
- Experience in EPMO as well as project-level PMO is desirable.
- Excellent references from previous employers and client sponsors.
- High energy levels to ensure successful project delivery or turnaround success.
- Tenacity and resilience, remain calm under pressure situations.
