Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Principal QTMP Operations Adviser to join our Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP). Based in Brisbane CBD this leadership role will drive the successful implementation and operation of the QTMP fleet, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations while overseeing the safe integration of the fleet into Queensland Rail services. As part of a vital transformation within Queensland Rail, this position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of rail services in South-East Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead testing and deployment operations for the safe integration of the QTMP fleet into Queensland Rail services.
  • Foster and maintain effective relationships with senior leadership and key stakeholders to ensure smooth operational interfaces.
  • Manage relationships with government agencies and other external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Liaise with our Contractor and QR business to gain access to the QR network and the issuing of associated documentation and approvals for testing of the QTMP fleet.
  • Responsible for the deployment of the QTMP fleet into revenue service.
  • Oversee the continuous improvement of QTMP fleet management processes, documentation, and supporting materials.
  • Provide expert guidance and leadership to ensure QTMP fleet integration and operations meet Queensland Rail\’s safety and regulatory standards.
