As our Regional Biosecurity Lead North, you will be responsible for driving high-level strategic advice and engagement activities for Biosecurity Queensland.
You will know you\’re achieving success in the role when you:
- Are dedicated to successfully and strategically engaging with local governments, industry, and the regional communities to support Biosecurity initiatives.
- Effectively advocate for Biosecurity Queensland\’s interests, providing advice and counsel to the Minister, Director-General, and Chief Biosecurity Officer on Biosecurity matters.
- Are actively contributing to and leading a high-performing regionally dispersed team.
- Manage, lead, and champion high-level Biosecurity initiatives throughout the relevant regions.
- Establish a stronger ongoing regional presence for Biosecurity Queensland through the establishment of regional hubs.

Strategy, Investment and Performance (SIP) delivers a range of services to support Biosecurity Queensland (BQ). SIP partners with BQ program areas to provide specialised advice on best business practice and technology to serve internal (and sometimes external) customers and business stakeholders.
