As our Regional Biosecurity Lead South, you will be responsible for driving high-level strategic advice & engagement activities for Biosecurity Queensland.
You will know you\’re achieving success in the role when you:
- Are dedicated to successfully & strategically engaging with local governments, industry, and the regional communities to support Biosecurity initiatives.
- Effectively advocate for Biosecurity Queensland\’s interests, provide advice & counsel to the Minister, Director-General, and Chief Biosecurity Officer on Biosecurity matters.
- Are actively contributing & leading a high-performing regionally dispersed team.
- Manage, lead & champion high-level Biosecurity initiatives throughout the relevant regions.
- Establish a stronger ongoing regional presence for Biosecurity Queensland through the establishment of regional hubs.
