VGA is seeking a skilled Regional Technical Manager to join our commercial team and provide expert technical support across our truck brands—Mack, Volvo, and UD – covering the Melbourne and Victoria region. In this pivotal role, you will lead efforts to drive continuous improvement, manage escalations, and ensure timely, efficient technical resolutions for our dealers and customers. Your goal will be to enhance customer satisfaction and uphold our uptime promise.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage customer and dealer service support as well as breakdown functions within the designated Area of Responsibility.
- Build strong relationships with customers and dealers, conducting regular visits to understand needs and provide feedback on dealer network performance.
- Work closely with the Product Support and Service Market Development teams to enhance dealer operations and support service procedures.
- Oversee technical and commercial goodwill, managing warranty claims, service agreements, and resolving customer conflicts.
- Develop action plans based on customer feedback and support dealers with warranty matters and service operations.
