The Opportunities
Due to continued strong growth and the award of several new projects supporting critical infrastructure across WA, we are looking for a 12D Design Engineer to join our Perth team that has Road alignment experience.
As the 12D Design Engineer, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, which produces designs using 12D Model software. You will work with a team of Engineers and produce detailed designs relating to earthworks, sewer, roads, drainage/stormwater, water etc.
Key accountabilities for the position:
- Production of all models and design information using the latest version of 12d Model and CAD software (AutoCAD).
- Provide new and innovative design modelling solutions to problems, ensuring the team keeps pace with new advancements in technology in the industry.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to provide practical and cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with other designers to develop and maintain design modelling standards.
- Identify and forecast risks, opportunities and variances in the relevant scope of works.
- Provide information for basic estimating exercises and prepare take-offs as requested.
About You:
- Tertiary education in Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficiency in 12d will be specially regarded. For example, 12d macro programming, snippet creation, and chains.
- Strong understanding of Road alignment design gained in a design consultancy.
- Ability to interact with all stakeholders at all levels.
