Salary: Salary is based off years of PAE, what you can bring to the firm, billable hours and ability to lead and mentor a team. Salary range is between $130,000 to $180,000 + Super + Bonus.
About the client: Our client is a prestigious family law firm with offices in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, and the Gold Coast known for its supportive team culture and commitment to employee development. This is a large family law firm with plenty of Accredited Specialists in family law and Senior Family Lawyers of 20+ years experience. This firm is expanding its teams in all offices, they have excellent benefits and perks and understand that there is life outside of work!
About the position: As a Senior Associate – Family Solicitor, you\’ll work in a dynamic environment alongside experienced professionals, gaining valuable experience and mentorship. This role provides a strong foundation for your career in family law, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a variety of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, property settlements, spousal maintenance, and domestic violence cases.
- Develop strong client relationships, offering compassionate and strategic advice tailored to their needs.
- Assist in representing clients in court, honing your litigation skills.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of family law professionals.
- Engage in continuous learning through workshops, seminars, and mentorship programs.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 4-7 years PAE in Family Law, preferably from private practice.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Ability to achieve 5-6.5 billable hours per day.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload.
- Vast Family Law knowledge and expertise.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
