About the role.

As a valuable member of our Bookkeeping & CFO Services team, our new Senior Client Manager will deliver high-quality bookkeeping service to a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries. Experience managing a diverse client base is essential for this role.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to display initiative and hit the ground running. Experience in Xero and MYOB is required, and experience with Fathom is preferred, however, equally as important is the ability to quickly learn new software as we’re a business known to embrace new technologies. You’ll need to be able to problem-solve, have a strong attention to detail, and display high levels of accuracy.

This is a full-time role, with preference for the role to be based in our Brisbane office. However, some time working from home will be considered for the right candidate.

Your responsibilities.

• Setting up new client data files, chart of accounts and payroll.
• Providing basic bookkeeping training to clients.
• Wages, commissions, superannuation, STP, Payroll Tax.
• Reconciliation and preparation of business/instalment activity statements (BAS/IAS).
• Troubleshooting issues in client files.
• Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.
• Prioritising jobs according to company requirements.
• Assist with cash flow forecasts, budget implementation and management reporting.

We\’re looking for someone with:

• 4+ years bookkeeping experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of bookkeeping principles.
• High level of experience with using Xero.
• Effective level of commercial acumen and decision-making ability.
• Experience with cash flow forecasting, budget implementation and management reporting.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and work demands.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously.
• High attention to detail.
• Energetic and enthusiastic with a positive outlook.
