Senior Finance Business Partner (Supply Chain)
With over 500 stores across Australia and New Zealand, employing more than 40,000 staff, our client has a finance department of 120 people, offering unparalleled career opportunities. They are seeking a diligent Senior Finance Business Partner to be responsible for their Supply Chain function.
Reporting to the GM of Supply Chain and Head of Commercial Finance, your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Produce Board-ready outputs that are underpinned by thoughtful analysis and robust assumptions. Prepare and distribute trade performance packs on a regular basis (weekly, monthly).
- Identify key drivers of business performance of the Supply Chain business to drive improved profitability.
- Articulate a clear and concise story that informs the Executive Leadership of business performance.
- Collaborate and work closely with the broader Commercial team to form an integrated view of business performance.
- Drive labour optimisation within Distribution Centres.
- Provide support on commercial projects, maintaining financial models and assisting in business case preparation.
- Support tenders and secure the necessary internal endorsement/approvals.
- Act as a trusted commercial advisor to the Head of Commercial Finance, GM of Supply Chain, and the Distribution Centre Managers.
To be successful in your application, you will be CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years of experience in an operational environment, ideally from a product-based company, and comfortable working in a \’hands-on\‘ capacity. You will possess an analytical mindset that allows you to provide meaningful and insightful commentary to the senior operations team.
