Senior Financial Accountant – Growing Organisation of 1,000
Full time
Our client is a large, successful company of 1,000 people operating Australia wide. Due to growth, they require a Senior Financial Accountant to join their highly regarded finance team.
Reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager, you will undertake the following responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of accountants
- Provide technical accounting advice
- Mentor members of the finance team
- Assist with month end processes
- Assist with statutory accounts
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Asset and lease accounting
- Assist with preparation of BAS and FBT
- Data collation for external auditors and statutory tax
- Project work
To succeed in this role, it is expected you will have the following skills and attributes:
- CA/CPA qualifications
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- ERP and system skills
- Communication skills
- A desire to contribute, continuously learn and develop your skills
- Experience in an accounting firm or commercial organization
- Team player
You will be joining a highly successful company with a great culture, based in the Brisbane CBD office. Hybrid working arrangements are not offered.
