We are actively recruiting a Senior Frontend Engineer for an initial short term contract to help deliver one of our client’s key projects on time. This project focuses on developing our client’s new web platform, aiming to deliver exceptional customer experiences and accessibility.

Technological Framework:

• Frontend Development: Utilizing Next.js 14 as the primary framework for frontend development, enabling efficient server-side rendering and a robust developer experience.
• API Integration: Leveraging gRPC for backend APIs, ensuring efficient communication and data transfer between frontend and backend systems.

Continuous Deployment and Integration:

• The project employs a continuous deployment pipeline, allowing for rapid and frequent updates to the web platform, including automated testing, deployment, and feature flag management.

Responsibilities and Impact:

• Deliver high-quality features and functionalities to users, leveraging expertise in React and Next.js.
• Guide technical decisions, mentor junior team members, and ensure adherence to best practices in software engineering, security, and scalability.

Role of Frontend Engineers:

• Development Expertise: Utilize years of web development experience, specifically in React or similar frameworks.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of software engineering principles, UI design literacy, and familiarity with frontend unit testing frameworks.
• Cloud Environment: Ability to work within cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure) and experience with continuous integration and deployment practices.
• Collaborative Skills: Engage with stakeholders, designers, and engineers to build context and ensure project alignment.
