A Federal Government Agency is seeking experienced Senior .Net Software Engineer to design, create, test and document new and amended software components from supplied specifications in accordance with agreed development and security standards and processes.
Duties
- Design and develop ICT solutions spanning web/desktop applications, web services, and batch jobs built using C#, Microsoft .NET framework and SQL Server.
- Translation of business needs into ICT system requirements and specifications for enhancements to one or more of the following bespoke Agency\’s Microsoft .NET applications and corporate applications.
- Technical analysis, design, prototyping, and maintenance activities of Microsoft .NET or Identity and Access Management solutions.
- Analyse and identify functional/business shortcomings in the software and effectively communicate with the team.
- Stay up to date with the newest technologies and security measures to keep web applications at the latest standard.
Technical Skills
- Experience in Solution Design and development of Microsoft .Net or custom Identity and Access Management solutions.
- Proven ability to deliver quality system solutions within an ICT project environment across web/desktop, web services, and batch jobs.
- Experience with the Microsoft technology stack (Microsoft .NET, SQL Server, Azure, PowerShell).
- Experience with C#, PowerShell or scripting languages to provision users and integrate with Identity and Access management solutions.
