About the role:
This position will see you as a skilled and enthusiastic professional leading urban project teams across current and upcoming Brisbane and South side projects. Your leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the execution of initiatives that enhance one of Brisbane\’s fastest growing regions. This is a permanent opportunity with an exciting chance to establish a senior foothold within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring adherence to project objectives and client requirements.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, specifications, and progress reports.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment and ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards.
- Monitor and manage project risks, proactively addressing challenges to minimize delays or cost overruns.
Skills & experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Min 5 years experience as a senior project engineer looking to move into a project manager\’s role.
- Experience in managing urban subdivision projects essential.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and standards.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
