About the Company:
Our client is an award-winning financial services firm with a head office in Melbourne\’s CBD. They have a long history of providing a high level of service to their members and are committed to creating a culture based on inclusivity, collaboration, and trust.
About the Role:
- Maintain a strong understanding of the infrastructure environment and the services it provides, including datacentres, cloud platforms, servers, networks, and firewalls.
- Investigate and resolve issues arising from project and operational activities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge in infrastructure trends and implement change initiatives to maintain or improve existing services.
- Work with vendors and other third parties involved in the delivery of key IT Services.
- Regularly review firewall configurations.
- Provide SME support and overview for Office 365 and Azure platforms.
- Undertake Disaster Recovery testing and participate in Business Continuity Planning exercises.
About the Candidate:
- 5+ years’ experience in IT.
- Attention to detail when configuring systems and documenting network and server functionality.
- Logical analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyse information and make good risk-based decisions.
- Mature, confident, and professional attitude.
- Technical knowledge & experience in Windows operating systems.
- Strong Cloud (Microsoft Azure) and Office 365 knowledge.
