The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for aSenior Talent Partner – Strategic Engagement to join DT Global in our Melbourne office. This Corporate role will form part of our Talent Engagement team and will work closely with our Strategic Engagement and Partnerships team, our Corporate staff, and Program teams. You will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment of personnel, ensuring best practice recruitment across the Asia-Pacific region.

Key to this role will be an experienced and dynamic Talent professional, skilled at attracting talent, accessing relevant networks, developing talent hubs, and leveraging strong relationships in the sector. You will be solutions-focused, thrive under pressure, able to prioritise competing demands, and driven to make a positive contribution.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and source talent across the region and apply consistent application of recruitment and selection policies and procedures;
  • Lead recruitment initiatives to address the diverse hiring needs of locally-engaged resources in our region;
  • Work closely with the talent team, internal managers, and stakeholders to determine key and ongoing resourcing requirements;
  • Optimise recruitment processes for efficiency and scalability across the ID AP region;
  • Develop talent attraction strategies and proactively grow the talent pipeline for key roles and other organisational roles;
  • Build networks, actively headhunt and recruit talent both in Australia and overseas;
  • Manage candidate rapport and communication, ensuring timely communication with hiring managers and all recruitment stakeholders;
  • Act as a trusted advisor, aligning recruitment strategies with broader program goals;
  • Support teams in assessing applications, screening, interviews, and all necessary candidate vetting and due diligence compliance;
  • Provide mentoring support and capacity building of talent management where needed;
  • Ensure our practice of inclusion, diversity, and non-bias in all aspects of talent management, recruitment, and selection;
  • Collaborate with colleagues, internal and external stakeholders across the division, bringing energy and passion to all interactions;
  • Utilise our technology and candidate database to enable our teams to improve processes for hiring, attracting, and retaining top talent.

About You

  • You will have experience in senior talent acquisition roles or similar, ideally having recruited in international development with a business degree or similar qualification.
  • You are organised, flexible, and solution-oriented, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills and demonstrated ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to capture and transcribe information accurately.
  • Professional discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience using LinkedIn, MS Office, and any candidate automated tracking system, such as Taleo.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Work experience in a professional corporate or international development setting would be desirable.
