We are seeking an experienced Senior Unix Systems Specialist to provide Unix server and storage administration support. This is a 10-month contract role based in Adelaide CBD. This role will involve maintaining and supporting Unix/Linux systems, ensuring the smooth operation of related services, and collaborating with a dynamic team to deliver efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer Unix/Linux servers and storage systems.
- Provide expertise in Unix filesystem structures and NFS management.
- Assist with large-scale deployments of Linux-based systems.
- Offer general server support, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain system stability and security.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Solid experience in Unix/Linux server administration.
- Demonstrated expertise with NFS and Unix filesystem layouts.
- Strong background with Redhat Linux deployments.
- Proven experience in system troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Key Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, along with extensive relevant experience.
- Alternatively, a combination of relevant experience and education.
- Experience with Redhat Satellite and Ansible.
- Knowledge of Redhat Directory Server (LDAP).
- Previous experience in an educational or research environment is a plus.
