As the Service Manager at Wine Industry Services, you will be responsible for overseeing the effective delivery of our industry-leading services to our valued clients across the beverage industries. This full-time role based in Golden Grove, South Australia, is crucial in ensuring the seamless operations and continuous improvement of our service offerings.

What you\’ll be doing
- Grow the turnover and bottom line of our After Sales Service offering from Wine Industry Services for our Australian, New Zealand, and Asian client base.
- Commit every installed machinery in our client database to routine, annual preventative maintenance schedules or agreements.
- Manage and coordinate the deployment of service teams for maintenance, repairs, or upgrades as part of specific projects.
- Customer service operations related to post-sale support, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues.
- Leading and training after-sales service teams, ensuring they are equipped to meet customer needs.
- Identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services during customer interactions and support.
- Liaise with clients to understand their service requirements and develop tailored solutions.
- Monitor service delivery and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure a cohesive and customer-centric approach.
- Developing and managing service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure that customer expectations are met.
- Prepare detailed reports on service metrics and make recommendations to the management team.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the service team.
- Ensure all service activities adhere to relevant industry regulations and safety standards.
- Write and administer OH & S policies, SWMS, JSA, plans, inspections and reporting.
- Manage all compliance registers and inspections.
What we\’re looking for
- Extensive experience (4+ years) in a service management role, preferably within the beverage industry.
- Knowledge in bottling or processing machinery/equipment.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, operations management or a related field.
- CAD 2D (advantage).
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint (essential).
- Strong technical understanding of the equipment and services offered by Wine Industry Services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and lead a team.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting to drive data-informed decision making.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and coordinate various service activities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement and service quality enhancement.
