An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Tyre and Automotive Store Manager at our Helensvale Store. We are seeking a self-driven customer-focused team leader who is keen to contribute to the continual success and growth of the store.
- Remuneration paid on experience
- Use of company vehicle (excluding Annual Leave)
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Support the franchisee to increase sales and profitability by promoting/recommending approved products and services
- Process store sales, operate and maintain all POS equipment
- Ability to diagnose wheel alignment, balance & wear issues if required
- Provide high standard of customer service in a professionally presented environment
- Maintain store security by adhering to policies and procedures, including opening and closing procedures
- Monitor the financials of the store, including end of day/week reports, banking, etc.
- People management including development and performance management
- Stock Management
- Organise, oversee and follow up on equipment maintenance
- Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and applicable legislation.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in retail/sales in the tyre, automotive, mechanical or similar industries would be highly regarded
- A current manual driver’s licence – Essential
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Honesty and integrity
- Have a cheerful \’Can do\‘ attitude
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Previous tyre fitting, balancing and mechanical experience preferred, but not essential.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Sound knowledge and adherence to OH&S practices
- Must be able to work on Saturdays (alternate paid as overtime).
- Willing to undertake ongoing training and development.
