WAREHOUSE MANAGER

VOTRE RESPONSABILITÉ ET VOS TÂCHES

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, storage, and distribution of goods. The role involves managing a team of warehouse staff, implementing efficient processes, and maintaining a safe working environment. The Warehouse Manager will also collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to ensure the seamless flow of goods.

Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Operations Management: Plan, organize, and supervise the overall activities within the warehouse to meet operational goals and targets. Ensure efficient utilization of space, equipment, and manpower to optimize productivity and minimize costs. Implement and improve warehouse procedures, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes. Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
• Team Management: Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to perform at their best and ensure a cohesive working environment. Schedule and allocate work tasks among the team members, ensuring timely completion of activities. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback, coaching, and training to enhance the team's performance.
• Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe and secure working environment. Conduct regular safety audits, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions. Provide proper training on safety procedures and the handling of hazardous materials.
• Logistics and Transportation: Manage inbound and outbound shipments efficiently. Collaborate with transportation providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to maintain the accuracy and integrity of warehouse inventory. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to inventory or order fulfillment.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other warehouse-related activities. Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement.

VOTRE PROFIL

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent experience in Warehouse Management).
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team.
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory management, and logistics operations.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
• Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.

Payrate: $65K-85K based on experience
