Wholesale Nursery Manager – Native Plants
Due to promotion, we are seeking a nursery manager for our Victoria Point Nursery. The nursery is wholesale and specializes in native plants, true to type and cultivars. Predominant container sizes are 75mm, 140mm, and 200mm. The nursery is approx. 15,000m2 of growing pads on an 8HA property. Propagation is undertaken onsite. Our customers are internal and Bunnings.
The manager would require a depth of knowledge in a number of areas from horticulture, sales and marketing, IT, market knowledge, admin, workplace relations, planning, propagation, production, dispatch, and biosecurity. Ability to lead and maintain worker performance are key qualities required. The nursery has a workforce of 9-14 personnel. The manager will be accountable for the business and profitability.
