Account Manager – Austria (M/F/D) for Agilent Technologies Cell & Molecular Research portfolio. Responsible for driving sales of advanced instrumentation and solutions to end‑user customers in the Austrian territory, building strong professional relationships and achieving revenue growth. Responsibilities
Develop and execute a territory development plan to grow sales and outpace competitors. Drive the full sales cycle: prospect new customers, develop leads, forecast accurately, and achieve quota. Build and maintain high‑level customer relationships and satisfaction. Represent Agilent to customers and serve as the customer voice within the organization. Collaborate with technical experts, remote account managers, and channel partners on marketing programs. Resolve complex technical and commercial issues in a timely manner. Maintain rigorous reporting of updates, expenses, and other required business processes. Promote new product introductions and solutions to existing and new customers. Qualifications
B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related Biological Sciences area. 2–4 years of experience in sales. Strong business development, negotiation, and closing skills. Deep knowledge of cell analysis, genomics, and pathology market trends, especially in academia and biopharma. Expertise in cellular and molecular methodologies (e.g., metabolomics, transcriptomics, NGS, IHC) and Agilent’s Cell & Molecular Research portfolio, with a focus on Flow Cytometry. Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken. Strong teamwork, self‑management, organizational, prioritization, and planning abilities. General IT proficiency; experience with software/database sales tools and systems. Resident in Austria; preference for Vienna area. Additional Information
