Using cutting-edge technology, we have developed a method to mimic allergic reactions in a test tube, avoiding direct exposure of patients to potentially harmful allergens. All we require for diagnostic work is a small blood sample.
We are looking for a dedicated
Research Associate
to join our Research and Development department and contribute to the advancement and optimization of our scientific projects. This role is central to driving innovation and ensuring high-quality research outcomes.
You would be part of our research team, focusing on cell-based experiments. We highly value experience in client interactions, as this role involves significant engagement in fee-for-service activities. You will actively support customer projects and collaboration and provide scientific input to external partners, ensuring high-quality outcomes and strong client relationships.
Main tasks & responsibilities
- Collect, label, and properly handle biological samples, specimens, and materials.
- Plan, conduct and analyse experiments following the guidelines of the respective work orders
- Monitor project progress and ensure that tasks are completed according to the work order or project plan.
- Analyze experimental data, write reports and present data in internal meetings and to customers
- Maintain detailed and clear documentation following the company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Implement quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet the customer\'s standards and specifications.
- Develop and refine research methodologies, including experimental design and data collection strategies
- Contribute to the design and optimization of the in vitro diagnostic medical device and the diagnostics assay procedure under development at ATANIS Biotech AG.
- Participate in group discussions and meetings to contribute to research strategies.
Your Profile
Technical and soft skills
· Master\'s degree in biology, life sciences, bioengineering, bioprocess engineering, biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences, molecular biology or similar.
- Experience with cell culture
- Standard molecular biology techniques and immunological assays such as flow cytometry, ELISA
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while effectively managing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills in English, good knowledge of German and French is a plus
