As part of this growth, we are recruiting a Sales Manager for the DACH region. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for developing sales of our films across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and for contributing, alongside our R&D team, to the development of our product range.
Your responsibilities
- Contribute to defining the sales strategy and implementing it in line with the company's objectives.
- Develop the portfolio of new international customers to drive sales growth.
- Monitor and grow business relationships with existing customers across a range of industrial sectors.
- Negotiate sales terms (prices, volumes, lead times).
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to build partnerships and attract new customers.
- Act as the voice of the DACH market inside the company: identify customer needs, emerging applications and technical requirements, and translate them into development briefs for our R&D team.
- Take an active part in the development of our product range, from the initial idea through industrial trials and customer qualification to commercial launch.
- Lead the market introduction of our new 7-layer technical films in the region and help position them in the most promising applications.
- Work closely with internal teams (R&D, sales administration, manufacturing, etc.).
- Define, track, and analyze performance indicators.
You will play an active role in growing the business and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Your profile
You have some experience in sales within the industrial and packaging sectors. Independent and proactive, you excel at prospecting and identifying new opportunities, and you know how to build lasting relationships with different types of customers.
You are proficient with standard office software as well as CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools.
You are highly organized, autonomous, and collaborative, able to manage priorities while bringing creativity to achieving your goals.
Experience in sectors using embossed or siliconized plastic films would be a significant advantage.
A good understanding of multilayer coextruded filmsin particular 5 and 7 layer structures and their barrier or technical applications would be a real plus.
You enjoy working hand in hand with R&D and technical teams, and you are comfortable discussing film structures, resins and processing constraints with your customers.
You speak German and English.
Regular travel within the DACH region, 2 weeks per month.
