- Bachelor’s degree in information science, Computer Science, Database Management, Public Health, or a closely related field required; a master’s degree in a related discipline preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles.
- Exceptional problem-solving, attention to detail and communication skills
- Experience communicating complex metrics into clear, non-technical written and verbal narratives.
- Strong understanding of data dictionaries, data standards, and metadata management frameworks.
- Experience with data governance or metadata management tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Purview or similar).
- Strong command of SQL, Python or R is highly valuable
- Experience working in healthcare, public health, or government data environments.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and their implications for metadata and data standardization.
