About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and business-oriented HR Manager to support Atlantic Zeiser and contribute to the continued evolution of its people agenda.
As a key member of the local organization and part of the broader Coesia HR community, you will act as a trusted partner to managers and employees, combining strategic perspective with hands-on execution across the full employee lifecycle.
You will play a central role in ensuring the effective management of HR processes, supporting talent acquisition and development, strengthening employee engagement, ensuring compliance with German labor regulations and Coesia standards, and fostering a constructive partnership with managers, employees, and the Works Council.
The role will also contribute to the implementation of local and Group HR initiatives, ensuring that people priorities are closely aligned with Atlantic Zeiser's business objectives.
Main responsibilities will include the following
- Collaborate closely with business leaders and managers to define, implement, and adapt HR initiatives that support organizational objectives, workforce planning, and business priorities.
- Act as a trusted HR partner for managers and employees, providing guidance on HR processes, employee relations matters, organizational changes, and people management topics.
- Ensure the timely and effective fulfilment of Coesia HR processes within Atlantic Zeiser, including talent acquisition, onboarding, learning & development initiatives, performance management, compensation, talent review, succession planning, HR reporting, and other Group HR initiatives, in collaboration with the central Coesia HR team.
- Drive employee engagement and contribute to building a positive, inclusive, and collaborative working environment, supporting managers in strengthening communication, accountability, and team effectiveness.
- Support change management initiatives, helping managers and employees navigate organizational evolution, process improvements, and transformation projects in a pragmatic and constructive way.
- Ensure compliance with German labor law, internal policies, collective agreements, and corporate governance standards, working closely with managers and relevant internal or external stakeholders.
- Collaborate constructively with the Works Council (Betriebsrat), supporting effective employee relations and ensuring that consultation, information, and negotiation processes are managed appropriately.
- Analyze HR data, workforce indicators, and key metrics to identify trends, highlight risks or opportunities, and support evidence-based decision-making at local and Group level.
- Oversee HR administration, employee documentation, HRIS data quality, and time-related processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality.
- Support and coordinate payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with the external payroll provider and relevant internal stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely processing in line with company policies and German regulations.
- Contribute to local and global HR projects, driving continuous improvement, digitalization, and the adoption of HR best practices across the organization.
- What You Need to Be Successful
- A university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in HR Business Partner roles. Experience in international, matrix organizations would be considered as a strong plus.
- Solid knowledge of German labour law and experience working with a Works Council (Betriebsrat).
- Experience with payroll processes, either through direct management or through coordination with external payroll providers.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with business leaders, managers, and employees at all organizational levels.
- Strong active listening skills and an open-minded approach, with the ability to understand different perspectives and build trust with stakeholders.
- A proactive and accountable mindset, with genuine interest in continuous improvement, organizational development, and change initiatives.
- A collaborative approach, combined with the ability to work independently, take ownership, and follow through on commitments.
- Good proficiency in HRIS systems, time keeping software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Interest in digitalization and innovation, with the willingness to contribute to the evolution and optimization of HR processes.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Availability to travel upon request.
