Join our team as a UX Design Lead, where you’ll play a pivotal role in creating intuitive, user-centered solutions that simplify the complexities of ESG reporting. Drive the vision for a seamless and cohesive user experience across our platform, combining your expertise in UX/UI design with a passion for sustainability to make a meaningful impact on businesses and the planet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop intuitive, user-centered designs that meet customer needs.
  • Lead the design of new product features and iterations, ensuring a seamless and consistent user experience across the platform and its modules.
  • Develop and maintain the design system, style guide, and patterns to ensure consistency and scalability across the product.
  • Advocate for UX excellence across all levels of the company, facilitating cross-team alignment for efficient use of the design system and design consistency.

Strategic Vision

  • Create a long-term UX/UI strategy aligned with business objectives and evolving user needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, integrating insights to improve design processes and outcomes.
  • Develop user journeys and a clear UX vision to enhance self-service, efficiency, and intuitiveness, simplifying the complexity of ESG reporting into an effortless experience.
  • Drive UI/UX improvements for each module, ensuring excellence on every page and delivering a seamless, cohesive user experience across the platform.

User Research and Testing

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and persona development to inform and validate design decisions.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to user satisfaction, usability, and design quality.
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and the ESG team to translate goals into designs aligned with the product strategy.
  • Ensure seamless implementation of design solutions through effective collaboration.

Leadership

  • Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering growth.
  • Champion UX/UI practices within the company by presenting design concepts, supporting decision-making, and communicating the value of user-centered design methodologies.

Requirements

Expertise in UX Design and Research

  • 5+ years of experience designing comparable B2B SaaS products (e.g., fintech, regtech, compliance, or reporting solutions with 5-digit contract value).
  • 3+ years of experience in UX research, with a proven track record of delivering user-centered design solutions for sophisticated, modular products.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing intuitive and user-friendly interface designs.
  • Extensive experience in conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Proficiency in user-centered design principles, research methods, and tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with design systems and pattern libraries.
  • Background in fast-paced, agile environments, with a strong ability to prioritize and deliver projects on time.

Location

Strong preference for candidates to work from our Berlin office, spending 3 days per week on-site; however, a remote setup (within ±3 hours CEST) is also considered.
