A growing renewable energy company is expanding its construction operations team and is looking for a Senior Construction Manager to coordinate photovoltaic (PV) projects across Germany.
The company develops and operates commercial & industrial rooftop solar projects, delivering full-service solutions including project development, EPC, battery integration, PPAs, and O&M. Typical project size ranges from 600 kWp to 3 MW, with larger projects up to ~10 MWp.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate resource planning for PV construction sites across Germany (DC teams, AC electricians, commissioning schedules)
- Manage and support site managers, installation teams, and subcontractors
- Ensure projects progress according to schedule, quality standards, and safety requirements
- Coordinate daily with project managers, construction teams, and subcontractors
- Ensure construction site readiness including documentation, drawings, and materials
- Manage external installation partners and subcontractor capacity
- Monitor project progress and report on schedule and budget risks
- Support site operations directly during critical project phases when required
Requirements
- Several years of experience delivering solar PV construction projects (commercial or industrial installations)
- Strong understanding of DC installation and AC electrical works
- Experience coordinating installation teams and subcontractors
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable managing multiple construction sites simultaneously
- Experience with project reporting and documentation
- Willingness to travel within Germany (~20%)
Package
- Salary up to €75,000 base ++
- Bonus equivalent to 1 month salary
- Company car included
- Germany-based (flexible location)
- Regular presence in Berlin approx. one week per month
