Senior Java Developer – 2scale Czech Republic s.r.o.
As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing robust applications using Java, Vaadin, and PostgreSQL. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across Germany and the Czech Republic to deliver high-quality software solutions while ensuring best practices in coding and design. Additionally, you will work within an AWS environment to deploy and manage applications effectively.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Vaadin.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Deploy and manage applications in an AWS environment.
Ideally, you have the following qualities and skills
- Proven experience as a Java Developer with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Extensive experience with Vaadin framework.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL database management.
- Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS) is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- German language skills are a benefit but not required.
