Role Overview
As a results‑oriented Account Manager / Executive, you will focus on either New Business or Existing Business in the mid‑market.
Existing Business
You will deepen client relationships, uncover strategic opportunities, and drive value‑based sales engagements with C‑level stakeholders.
New Business
You will manage a territory focused on winning new logos in the mid‑market, handling the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
Key Responsibilities
- Existing Business: Take ownership of mid‑market customers; proactively engage and build a strong network; analyze customer needs; consultative selling; conduct high‑quality software presentations; drive cross‑ and upselling; collaborate closely with consulting, product, and other internal teams.
- New Business: Lead strategic prospecting and discovery; acquire mid‑sized clients up to 1,000 employees; drive the full sales cycle; communicate value proposition; build and nurture relationships at all levels; navigate complex negotiations; collaborate with internal teams.
Key Requirements
- Associate Account Executive: 1‑2 years of experience in new business sales or key account management, SDR/BRD experience considered.
- Account Executive: 2‑4 years of full sales cycle experience with Software/SaaS focus or consulting background.
- Senior Account Executive: 4+ years of SaaS sales experience selling complex SaaS solutions.
- Technical affinity, quick grasp of concepts, strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Willingness to learn, enthusiasm, strong team spirit.
- Fluency in German and strong proficiency in English.
