Overview
In this role you will drive OT/IT integration and continuous improvement within AT&S’s OT domain. You collaborate with stakeholders to design and optimize hardware and software solutions that support manufacturing objectives. You will lead IT projects, customize OT systems, and provide training and technical support. You contribute to domain strategies and enable value creation across manufacturing environments, leveraging innovative technologies. This is an international, cross-functional role with a strong impact on operational efficiency and digitalization.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Engage with key users to translate business needs into scalable OT/IT solutions
- Define, document, and maintain domain-specific processes, policies, and standards
- Support and lead IT projects and domain initiatives from planning to execution
- Customize and optimize OT systems to meet operational needs
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to users
- Analyze complex technical issues and deliver sustainable solutions
- Generate reports and insights for informed decision-making
- Drive continuous improvement by evaluating and adopting new technologies and best practices
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or comparable qualification
- at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong expertise in OT systems, IoT, factory automation, and L2–L3 system integration
- Experience with MES systems, ideally Critical Manufacturing (Connect IoT certification is a plus)
- Knowledge of automation protocols such as SECS/GEM, OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, and TCP/IP
- Solid knowledge in TypeScript, C#, and good knowledge of T-SQL and database concepts
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and software lifecycle management
- Strong communication skills in English
