You will design, operate, and optimize backup/restore processes and disaster recovery for on-prem and cloud environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams. You’ll drive data protection, compliance, and audit readiness in a global manufacturing setting. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Design, operate, and monitor backup and recovery solutions for designated systems
- Ensure data availability, integrity, and recoverability per compliance requirements
- Manage enterprise storage platforms (SAN, NAS, object storage)
- Execute and document backup tests, DR tests, and restore procedures
- Enforce data retention, encryption, and access control policies
- Support audits and compliance checks related to data protection
- Collaborate with Production IT, Security, and Infrastructure teams
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or comparable experience
- Proven experience in a similar position
- Proven experience with enterprise backup and storage technologies
- Solid understanding of data protection in regulated environments
- Experience with encryption, retention policies, and disaster recovery concepts
- Reliable, precise, and documentation-oriented working style
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
