Overview
As a Senior Engineer in the R&D Glass Core PKG team, you will drive development of patterning technologies for next-generation glass core substrates. You will collaborate with material, equipment, and process suppliers to optimize lithography, etching, and plating for high-density circuit formation. Your work will balance performance, manufacturability, and reliability while advancing cross-functional packaging innovations. This role offers impact through shaping technology that enables scalable, reliable interconnect solutions in a global setting.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Develop circuit formation technologies for Glass Core Substrate with suppliers
- Lead process development and optimization of lithography, etching, plating, and related patterning technologies
- Define process windows to meet target pattern quality, yield, and manufacturability
- Conduct process evaluations on pattern quality, defect reduction, adhesion, dimensional stability, and electrical traits
- Analyze failure mechanisms including pattern defects, delamination, cracking, etching issues, and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (process, material, reliability) to drive technology development and project execution
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 7+ years in microelectronic packaging, substrate, PCB, or process technology development
- Expertise in lithography, etching, plating, and circuit formation processes
- Understanding of process integration, defect analysis, yield improvement, and reliability considerations
- Familiarity with electrical and thermo-mechanical reliability requirements for substrates or packaging
- Fluency in English
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in relevant fields
