The role provides architectural leadership to ensure MES solutions are secure, scalable, standardized, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles. The position works closely with business stakeholders, project teams, system integrators, and manufacturing sites to support platform harmonization, operational excellence, and digital transformation initiatives.Your ResponsibilitiesDefine and govern the architecture, standards, design principles, and governance framework for the digital manufacturing landscape, with a focus on Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)Design scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable manufacturing solutions that support business and operational requirementsDrive the standardization and harmonization of manufacturing platforms and production systems across global manufacturing sitesEstablish and enforce platform standards, architecture governance practices, and technical best practices across the manufacturing networkDefine integration concepts and architectural patterns between manufacturing, ERP, automation, quality, and analytics platforms to enable seamless interoperabilityCollaborate with business, manufacturing, and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into sustainable architecture solutionProvide architectural leadership for implementation, modernization, and digital transformation initiativesSupport the development and documentation of business, application, data, and technology architectures in alignment with established enterprise architecture frameworksContribute to the long-term digital manufacturing strategy and roadmap while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks, governance requirements, cybersecurity standards, and regulatory complianceYour ProfileDegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldStrong background in MES and manufacturing systems within production environmentsKnowledge of solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or manufacturing IT architectureUnderstanding of manufacturing processes and enterprise application landscapesKnowledge of industrial automation technologies, including PLC, SCADA, OPC UA, and IT/OT architecturesFamiliarity with architecture governance frameworks and solution design principlesUnderstanding of cybersecurity principles, identity and access management, and industrial security conceptsAbility to lead cross-functional technical initiatives and collaborate with global teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsFluent English skillsOur OfferA meaningful role with opportunities for long-term growth in an international environment Chance to actively contribute to AT&S success and to create value A structured and tailor-made onboarding program along with continual training opportunitiesModern company canteen with freshly prepared meals every dayFree parking spaces and e-charging stationsDiverse health measures and a wide range of employee benefitsReady for a new challenge to advance your career?
