Developing mission-critical systems that integrate real-time AI, advanced hardware, and multi-sensor perception. Operates in stealth mode with a strong emphasis on defense-grade software reliability and real-world performance. Backed by top tech investors to build field-ready defense solutions in an agile environment. Why Join? Build mission-critical counter-drone tracking systems operating under extreme real-world constraints. Direct ownership over the state estimation and tracking layer from architectural design to field test. High-impact early-stage startup environment with zero bureaucracy and founding-level equity participation. Work in a central Berlin office alongside elite robotics, controls, and mechatronics engineers. The Role A technical, hands-on role where you will: Design, implement, and optimize real-time multi-UAS target tracking algorithms. Develop tracking-by-detection pipelines using IR/thermal video streams as core inputs. Tune Extended/Unscented Kalman Filters for target state, velocity, and trajectory prediction. Fuse visual tracks with radar, laser range finder, and IMU data to maintain track stability. Deploy and accelerate C++ perception pipelines onto NVIDIA Jetson platforms using TensorRT and CUDA. Reduce identity switches, track jitter, false tracks, and latency under severe operational noise. Analyze field data from testing environments to iteratively improve algorithmic robustness. The Essential Requirements 6+ years in Computer Vision, Multi-Object Tracking, or Real-Time Perception Systems. Production-grade C++ and Python development experience in Linux environments. Hands-on experience with Bayesian state estimation (Kalman Filters, EKF, UKF). Experience deploying deep learning/computer vision models to NVIDIA Jetson / Tegra hardware. Mandatory citizenship of a NATO member state. Availability for full-time onsite work in Berlin. What Will Make You Stand Out Experience with IR/thermal image tracking, weak contrast targets, or thermal clutter rejection. Background in defense, aerospace, autonomous robotics, or high-speed target tracking. Experience fusing visual measurements with Radar, LRF, or IMU data sources.
