Export control expert (all genders) - Qualitätsmanagement, IT

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with applicable foreign trade law (EU, DE, US)
• Ensuring that processes related to the import, export and transfer of goods and technologies are carried out in compliance with foreign trade law
• Obtaining permits and licenses from the relevant authorities
• Creating and maintaining export documents for the smooth movement of goods
• Advising and training your colleagues on export control issues
• Liaising with national and international authorities, customers and suppliers
• Conducting risk analyses and internal audits to ensure compliance
• Supporting the development and implementation of efficient export control processes
• Coordinating with the logistics, export and customs departments to ensure seamless collaboration
• Optimizing export processes to ensure timely deliveries and improve operations

Your Skills and Qualifications

• A degree in engineering, economics, law or a comparable qualification
• Experience in the field of logistics, export and customs
• Technical understanding and enthusiasm for export control topics
• Analytical thinking and a careful way of working
• Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
• Fluent German and good English, both written and spoken
