Audit Risk Recruitment is partnering with a leading global business to appoint an experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join its high-performing audit function in Switzerland. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, delivering risk-based audits while providing valuable insight into trading operations and business processes .Key Responsibiliti esLead and deliver end-to-end internal audit assignments across the organisation, with a strong focus on commodity trading activitie s.Conduct interviews with commercial (trading), risk management, and key operational stakeholders to gain a thorough understanding of processes and control s.Review and document controls, procedures, and audit findings across front, middle, and back office trading function s.Identify risks, control weaknesses, and opportunities to improve governance and operational efficienc y.Prepare clear, concise audit reports and present findings and recommendations to senior managemen t.Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple business functions and international location s.Support the continuous development and improvement of the internal audit functio n.Requireme ntsAround 7–8 years of experie nce within Internal Audit, External Audit, or Front Office Operations, ideally within a commodity trading environme nt.Strong understanding of commodity trading processes, includi ng front, middle, and back office operati o ns.Experience leading stakeholder interviews and documenting controls, procedures, and audit findin gs.Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skil ls.Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and challenging existing processes where appropria te.Willingness to travel internationally as requir ed.Fluent English is essential.
