As regulatory frameworks such as the EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) accelerate the adoption of Digital Product Passports (DPP), Aura is uniquely positioned to become the trusted digital backbone of the global luxury ecosystem.Role PurposeThe Sustainability & Traceability Manager translates sustainability regulation and strategy into practical, scalable solutions for Aura and its member brands. The role combines regulatory expertise with an understanding of luxury operations, industrial processes, supply chains, and product-level implementation. The successful candidate will turn sustainability and Digital Product Passport requirements into clear actions, data needs, and business processes.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Key Responsibilities1. Regulatory Operational ImplementationTranslate regulatory requirements intoimplementation roadmaps, data requirements, and scalable solutions for member brands.Work closely with Aura’s member brands across product, supply chain, production, sourcing, digital and sustainability teams to support the adoption of Aura’s traceability and Digital Product Passport solutions, embedding requirements into business processes and systems across the product lifecycle.Identify implementation risks, dependencies, and capability gaps, and recommend pragmatic actions for regulatory readiness.2. Brand, Supply Chain & Industrial EngagementSupport Aura’s business team to engage with luxury brands, suppliers, technology providers, and internal teams to understand product development, manufacturing, sourcing, and supply chain processes.Provide practical insights and guidance on the collection, verification, governance, and communication of product- and supplier-level sustainability and traceability data.3. Sustainability Use Cases & SolutionsDefine and prioritize sustainability-related business requirements for Aura's Digital Product Passport platform, working closely with Product and Technology teams to translate regulatory and business needs into platform capabilities.Contribute to the development of common implementation approaches, data models, and best practices that support consistent Digital Product Passport adoption across Aura's member brands.Develop practical use cases for Digital Product Passports, traceability, circularity, repair, resale, ownership transfer, product care, and lifecycle services.Connect sustainability requirements with operational workflows and tangible value for brands, customers, and ecosystem partners. Support pilots and working groups, coordinating stakeholders and turning concepts into implementable processes and deliverables.4. Guidance, Collaboration & Knowledge BuildingFacilitate workshops to align sustainability, regulatory, operational, and technology teams.Develop implementation guidance, process documentation, presentations, and training materials to enable brands and internal stakeholders to operationalize requirements.Build trusted relationships with sustainability and business leaders across member brands, facilitating collaboration and alignment on common approaches to Digital Product Passports and sustainability implementation.Represent Aura in relevant industry initiatives and support collaboration with brands, suppliers, regulators, and sustainability experts.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Profile & ExperienceWe are seeking a hands-on sustainability professional with:5-8 years of experience in sustainability, ESG, circularity, traceability, responsible sourcing, or regulatory implementation, including direct experience within a luxury brand.Strong knowledge of EU sustainability and circularity regulation, with demonstrated experience translating theory into practical operational requirements.Strong understanding of product data structures, traceability information and sustainability-related data governance.A solid understanding of luxury product development, industrial and manufacturing processes, supply chains, materials, sourcing, and product-level data flows.Proven ability to work with sustainability, production, operations, sourcing, suppliers, IT, legal, and product teams to implement change within a brand.Experience with Digital Product Passports, traceability, sustainability data, environmental reporting, or circular business models is highly desirable.Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken, is required.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Leadership CompetenciesStructured, analytical, and pragmatic, with the ability to move from regulatory interpretation to operational delivery.Strong business and brand awareness, with sensitivity to the quality and complexity of the luxury industry.Effective project manager able to coordinate stakeholders, drive follow-up, and turn complex requirements into clear actions.Collaborative communicator with strong influencing skills, sound judgment, and confidence with technical and senior stakeholders.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Why Join AuraThis is a defining moment for luxury.
