To strengthen its team in Basel, Switzerland, we are currently looking for aSenior Manager Strategic Manufacturing Solutions (Downstream Processing - Biologics) Healthcare Industry – German speaking – immediately available or available at short notice (Ref. 2816) - BaselIn this key role, you will drive the development, optimization, and industrialization of manufacturing processes for biologics, supporting activities from process development through GMP manufacturing.You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Process Development, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and international production sites to ensure operational excellence and manufacturing readiness.Evaluate, optimize, and enhance manufacturing and operational processes to improve efficiency and complianceLead technology transfer and scale-up activities into GMP manufacturing environmentsEnsure manufacturing readiness through effective process implementation and operational supportProvide technical expertise and troubleshooting support during production campaigns and process-related challengesDevelop and execute strategies to improve process performance, quality, and regulatory complianceCollaborate with cross-functional and international stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and projectsSupport customer engagements, technical presentations, audits, inspections, and problem-solving activitiesYour profileMaster’s degree or PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline.Several years of experience within the biopharmaceutical industry (manufacturing, process development, technology transfer, or process validation)Strong technical expertise in biologics manufacturing processes, preferably within Downstream Processing (DSP)Solid understanding of GMP requirements and experience working in a highly regulated environmentProven ability to lead complex projects and influence stakeholders within matrix organizationsExcellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and sitesFluent in German and English, both written and spokenWillingness to travel to Germany (20% of the time) is requiredFull discretion is guaranteed and we will gladly answer any additional questions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
