We have an exciting opportunity for a working student (10 hours per week in our Berlin office) to gain deep expertise on European energy markets by developing analysis and undertaking key pieces of research for our European Advisory and Research Analytics teams. Based in our Berlin office (a gateway for Aurora to various European markets), the successful applicant will demonstrate a combination of technical strength with the ability to apply diligent, systematic inquiry into various European energy market research topics. Key responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining a European PPA database, which includes:
- Researching and listing all PPAs for European markets
- Maintaining and regularly updating the database
- Build output and valuation sheets analytics
- Researching and listing European electrolyser projects and their status of developments
- Maintaining and regularly updating the database

Required attributes
- Good academic performance in one of the following subjects: a quantitative subject, coupled with a keen interest in policy developments or social science, environmental studies or a related field, coupled with an interest in quantitative analysis
- An ability to collect, analyse and interpret complex data and information.
- Strong written and verbal communication as well as interpersonal skills
- A fast learner with Excel skills or competency or interest in common programming languages (e.g., python, MATLAB)
- Professional-level competence in English
- It would be a plus if you have an interest in energy markets, previous professional or academic exposure to energy markets
