Key Account Manager Pharmacy - National (m/f/d) to join our team as soon as possible.

The primary responsibility of this position is to manage sales operations within the assigned customer group and achieve sales targets in Germany.

This includes building strong relationships with key customers such as Pharmacies, Wholesaler und Telemedicine Partners, negotiating contracts, sales activities on daily business and contributing to strategic planning and execution to drive business growth .

Responsibilities / Duties

  • Responsibility for sales activities for the assigned customer group and achievement of sales targets in Germany.
  • Intensive management of key customers (especially pharmacists and wholesalers) within the assigned area and, as agreed, beyond the designated territory and with other customer groups.
  • Negotiating and concluding supply agreements with major clients, wholesalers, purchasing groups, and individual pharmacies.
  • Receiving and processing purchase orders (POs) from assigned customers in close coordination with the Customer Service Management (CSM) team.
  • Planning and allocating required product quantities in close collaboration with the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team.
  • Conducting demand forecasting on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis in alignment with sales management.
  • Supporting regional and national exhibitions and congresses.
  • Planning and executing individual projects to achieve sales goals.
  • Assisting with regional and national tasks as per individual agreements.
  • Planning and conducting internal and external training sessions (e. g., product, project, sales, or operating room-related training).
  • Conducting market and competitor analyses to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Assisting in the creation of marketing materials.
  • Supporting ongoing project work to meet organizational objectives
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with the ability to build long-term partnerships with key clients.
  • Excellent knowledge of the pharmaceutical market, strategic sales planning abilities, analytical thinking, and strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Word with particular expertise in Excel; data-driven decision-making, and a results-oriented mindset are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel to assigned customers and exhibitions and congresses, within and outside the assigned territory.
  • Exceptional communication skills: Fluent in both German and English is mandatory (written and spoken).
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).

Education & Experience

  • University degree in Natural Sciences, Medicine or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 4 years of proven, successful sales experience within the pharmaceutical industry or the medical cannabis industry.
  • Qualification as a pharmaceutical sales representative according to AMG §75: Preferred but not mandatory.
